Meet Jason, Owner of Gritty Sandblasting & Painting
Jason Simpson and has been involved in the heavy equipment industry for the past 25 years. He has recently taken over from Brain’s Heavy Equipment Painting – a trusted name for over three decades. He is currently the owner of the company along with his spouse, Natalie. They have two amazing girls that have supported them tremendously in the endeavor. Jason embarked on this venture as he has always wanted to be a business owner that can make decisions for the best of the company and the clients it serves. He also like the aspect of being able to give back to the community that supports Jason and Gritty Sandblasting & Painting. In addition to looking after the day-to-day operation, he also actively does much of the sandblasting and painting services. Jason is supported with one other team member that helps with these services, as well as helping with any of the mechanical repairs and bodywork. Gritty Sandblasting and Painting strives to provide the best quality product in a timely manner and at a reasonable price.
Community Involvement
Currently Gritty Sandblasting is involved in sponsoring Lumby Minor Hockey and the Lumby Curling Club. These are both organizations that Jason wholeheartedly supports. Jason played Minor Hockey as a youth and feel it is one of the best organizations for youth to be involved in with Lumby’s community. Gritty Sandblasting and Painting is currently honored to be able to sponsor one of the locker rooms at the Pat Duke Arena. Jason has also been a member of the Lumby Curling Club for may year and is currently playing in several of the leagues. The Lumby Curling Club is an amazing place to socialize as well as partake in a great sport. Gritty Sandblasting is also proud to be a 2024 Lumby Chamber of Commerce member, helping shape the business community within the great area. Giving back to the community that supports the business is something that Jason feels very passionate about and will continue to pay it forward towards the community.
